Owens Corning has broken ground on its new manufacturing facility in Russellville, Arkansas. This facility will create 50 new jobs in the area!

We began 2023 with an announcement from Owens Corning committing to a $60 million dollar capital investment in Russellville with a new foam insulation plant in our East End Industrial Park.  With this investment, new high paying jobs will be added to our community and a new and innovated product will be produced right here in Russellville.  

Additionally, in 2023 the Chamber and Alliance hosted 8 site visits for industries and large-scale developments looking at the Russellville area for their next project.  Many of these projects are ongoing and we look forward to more success and exciting announcements in 2024.  

The Russellville Alliance for Economic Development was recognized for it’s accomplishments by Governor Hutchinson during his 2022 Proclamation of Economic Development Week, and in 2023 by Governor Sanders as she acknowledged the economic development happening at Chambers across the state.
