The excitement kicks off with the Expo Preview Party, an exclusive evening for Chamber members to enjoy an early look at the exhibitor booths, cast their vote for Best Booth, reconnect with familiar faces, and make new connections—all while sampling delicious bites from a curated selection of local restaurants. The following morning, the Expo opens to the public for a high-energy day filled with engaging activities, exciting giveaways, live entertainment demos, tasty food, and even interactive stage games. Whether you're looking to network, discover new products and services, or simply enjoy a fun community event, the River Valley Business Expo has something for everyone!
Annual Meeting
The Annual Meeting serves as the Chamber’s premier gathering of its general membership, offering a comprehensive look at the economic growth and community development taking place in the Russellville region. This event highlights the Chamber’s business-focused initiatives and projects over the past year, showcasing the impact of its work across the area. A keynote address from a distinguished Arkansas leader will serve as the centerpiece of the program, followed by special recognitions including the Red Coat Ambassador of the Year, Lifetime Status honorees, and Russellville’s Citizen of the Year.
Legislative Reception
The Russellville Regional Alliance for Economic Development, in partnership with the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce, hosts a biennial Legislative Reception to honor and recognize members of the Arkansas General Assembly.This special event provides an opportunity to show appreciation for our legislators' service while fostering meaningful dialogue between community leaders and elected officials.
First Friday Breakfast
Throughout the year, the Chamber hosts a dynamic event that brings together breakfast, business networking, and insightful programming—all before the workday begins. Guests enjoy a delicious morning meal while making valuable connections with fellow business owners and professionals. Each event features an informative presentation or discussion designed to keep attendees in the know on important business topics and community developments. Commerce and Connections is an exclusive after-hours networking event designed specifically for our valued Chamber members. Whether you're looking to grow your business, collaborate with other professionals, or simply stay connected to the local business community, Commerce and Connections creates the ideal environment to spark conversations that matter and connections that last.
Chamber Classic Golf Tournament
The Chamber Classic Golf Tournament is a classic, three-man scramble aimed at combining fun with business. Company and organization teams will pair up. Each golfer will have the opportunity to win cash prizes and awesome hole-in- one prizes on the Par 3’s. Lunch, beverage and snack carts, as well as, goody bags will be provided for all golfers. Sponsorships are available.
Bowling for Business
Bowling for Business is a fun and engaging networking event hosted by the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce, designed to bring together local business professionals in a relaxed and competitive atmosphere. Held at Strikers Bowling Alley, the event features team-based bowling tournaments, creative awards, food and drinks, and unique challenges like “Gutter Games.” Participants enjoy a mix of friendly competition and casual networking, making it a great opportunity to build connections, promote local businesses, and strengthen community relationships—all while having a great time.
First Responders Appreciation Cookout
The Annual Law Enforcement & First Responder Appreciation Cookout Lunch is a meaningful opportunity for our community to come together in gratitude and support of our local heroes. This special event is dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who selflessly serve and protect us every day. It’s our way of saying thank you for their unwavering commitment and service to the community.
Leadership Academy
Established in 1986, the Russellville Regional Leadership Academy is a longstanding program of the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce, dedicated to cultivating the next generation of community leaders. Since its inception, the Academy has proudly graduated over 400 men and women who have gone on to make meaningful contributions throughout the region. This annual program is designed to identify, educate, and inspire individuals with leadership potential, equipping them to take on key roles in shaping the future of the Russellville area. Through a dynamic curriculum and hands-on experiences, participants gain a deeper understanding of the community while building the skills and connections needed to lead with purpose and impact.
Paint The Town Green and Gold
This spirited tradition welcomes the start of a new school year at ATU by encouraging local businesses to showcase their Tech pride. Whether you go all out with storefront displays or add spirited touches inside your business, it’s a fun and festive way to show support for our students and create a warm, vibrant atmosphere throughout the community. Feeling competitive? Let your creativity shine—entries will be judged, and winners will be celebrated on social media, recognized during the first ATU home football game, and featured in local media.
Bash at the Ballpark/Pack the Berm
Bash at the Ballpark and Pack the Berm is a springtime, community event that brings kids of all ages together to celebrate and enjoy sports! Join us on the campus of Arkansas Tech University for some great food, fun, pictures with Jerry the Bulldog, and lots of give-a-ways. Attendees will also have an opportunity to meet the Tech teams and get autographs and photos with your favorite player. Sponsorships are available for Chamber members. Admission and food provided by event sponsors are free to all attendees. This event switches between baseball and softball each year.
Workforce Programs

The Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce has hosted Skilled Trade Expos, Draft Day, and workforce signing days for area students. These events are more than job fairs—they're opportunities to inspire, collaborate, and grow. High school students are gaining real-world exposure and exploring career paths right here at home.
