The Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce Inspire River Valley Connection to Careers 2024–2025 Program
Inspire River Valley is a Workforce Development Program formed by Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce through a partnership of River Valley businesses, K12 schools, and post-secondary schools.
The goals of Inspire River Valley are to link individuals to career and/or educational opportunities and regional employers to their future workforce. We also want to connect students to in-demand career paths through virtual and in-person career experiences with business and industry. These events form opportunities for participants to upskill their talents and to collaborate with regional businesses to facilitate meaningful career experiences.
Make a Request
Inspire River Valley events include classroom presentations, facility tours, mock interviews, and more. If you would like to schedule a tour or speaker, attend an event, or reserve volunteers for mock interviews, please see the information below and contact chamber@russelvillechamber.com to make a request.
Speakers & presentations
Please make your request a minimum of two weeks in advance. Most business people cannot be available for a whole day. You may want to consider videotaping a presentation if it needs to be shown to multiple classes throughout the day. In your request, please include the topics you want discussed, the approximate number of students, the grade level of students, and the date and time of the presentation.
Volunteers for mock interviews
Please make your request a minimum of two weeks in advance. Most business people can be available for a couple of hours, but not for a whole day. In your request, please include information about student career interests, the approximate number of students, the grade level of students, and the date and time of the event.
Tours
Requests for student tours of a plant or a business must be made at least four weeks in advance. Tours will require additional school personnel to chaperone small groups.
