The Sweet Spot
3.3 mi. Loop / Singletrack / Intermediate
The Sweet Spot is a clockwise loop of the Ouita Coal Company trail's outer perimeter. The Sweet Spot links the entire system together into a single "greatest hits" ride that ensures you get all the best parts of the trail in a bite-size package.
Ouita Coal Company
9 mi. Loop / Singletrack / Intermediate
A lollipop of a trail, the OCC is just off of Exit 78 on I-40, near Russellville and Lake Dardanelle State Park. It includes a paved walking trail, and some of the most fun mountain bike trails you can find right off of a major interstate with lake views, exposed climbs, and rocky, rooty technical sections fun built on the skeletons of an 1800s coal mine.
Old Post
7.1 mi. Loop / Singletrack / Intermediat
The Old Post Park Mountain Bike Trails in Russellville, AR, are fast routes, featuring a flowy series of loops near the banks of the Arkansas River. The trail difficulties vary, and combines a fun mix of terrain, with a few places to stop and take in the scenic views.
Green Trail
1.2 mi. Point-to-Point / Singletrack / Intermediate
Fresh off of climbing up the tailings from Orange Trail, most riders like to stop and enjoy the view of Lake Dardanelle. The Green Trail starts at this perfect rest stop and then drops the riders into one of the best features of the entire ride. Known to many as "the Dragon's Back," with steep falls to either side, the narrow trail flows like a rollercoaster before dropping riders out onto a trail that runs along the lake.
Chickalah Loop Trail
4.8 mi. Loop / Singletrack / Intermediate-Difficul
This trail is a strong intermediate trail with incredible rock work. There are expert-level jumps that can be ridden around. To the left is downhill only and bikes only until it meets the Connector Trail. To the right is a lollipop; do not climb the downhill trail. Either direction, the trail goes down from the Mount Nebo Bench Trail on fast, flowy singletrack bench cuts with big berms and armored wash crossings.
Bench Trail
3.6 mi. Point-to-Point / Doubletrack / Easy-Intermediate
The trail can be ridden clockwise or counter-clockwise. It has two trailheads separated by a few hundred feet of paved road. The trail follows a narrow roadbed around Mount Nebo with many spots to get great views of the Arkansas River Valley on the north side and the Petit Jean River Valley on the south side.
